I offer personalised and engaging tuition both online and in person, tailoring lessons to each learner’s individual needs. About Mrs Dearman, BSc (Hons), PGCE, NASENCO
Mrs Dearman is a qualified Science teacher, experienced tutor, SENCo, and specialist teacher with a passion for helping children and young people achieve their full potential. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree from University of Bath, alongside a PGCE in Secondary Biology, the National Award for SEN Coordination, and an Accredited Level 5 Certificate in Dyslexia: Literacy, Support, and Intervention.
Alongside her teaching qualifications, Mrs Dearman received the ESPN Award for her award-winning Psychology dissertation, reflecting her strong academic background and commitment to understanding how children learn best. Before moving into education, she also worked as a Scientific Officer for the Ministry of Defence, bringing valuable scientific and analytical expertise to her teaching practice.
With over six years of experience teaching Science in secondary schools, Mrs Dearman provides engaging, supportive, and personalised tuition both online and in person. She specialises in supporting neurodiverse learners and creating tailored learning approaches that build confidence, independence, and academic success for students of all abilities.
